We are looking for a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team based at Changi Airport, Singapore.
In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between our cutting-edge AI software/hardware solutions and our live operational environments. You will be responsible for the deployment, calibration, and ongoing optimization of our autonomous fleet. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the on-site deployment and integration of L4 autonomous driving hardware and software systems at Changi Airport.
- Perform regular system health checks, troubleshooting, and diagnostic analysis of autonomous vehicle sensors (LiDAR, cameras, GPS/IMU).
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams in Beijing and Shanghai to resolve performance bottlenecks and implement software updates.
- Conduct field tests and data collection cycles to validate autonomous driving performance in complex, dynamic airport environments.
- Provide technical training and operational support to local site partners and on-site staff.
- Analyze operational logs to improve vehicle navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mission-planning efficiency.
- Document technical processes, maintenance logs, and incident reports to maintain the highest safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in field engineering, robotics support, or similar high-tech operations.
- Proficiency in Linux/Ubuntu environments and basic scripting skills (Python or Shell) for data analysis and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with sensor calibration (LiDAR, Radar, Cameras) and autonomous vehicle stacks (e.g., ROS, Apollo).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex hardware/software issues in real-time.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin is highly advantageous to communicate effectively with our global R&D headquarters.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
