Cohu, Inc. is a global leader in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, dedicated to driving innovation in the semiconductor industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Philippines. In this role, you will provide critical technical support and engineering services to our clients, ensuring the seamless operation and longevity of Cohu's advanced production equipment.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise field service staff and execute customer support activities involving complex installation, engineering, and maintenance tasks. You will serve as the technical face of Cohu, working closely with customers to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and perform routine maintenance. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellence in customer service.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of Cohu semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and engineering support for equipment malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand requirements and provide status updates.
- Document all service activities, repair reports, and technical data accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in a field service role within the semiconductor or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel to various customer sites as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
