Join Chemoscience as a Field Service Engineer and become a vital part of our technical support team. This dynamic role requires a hands-on professional to deliver exceptional field engineering services across Woodlands and the North Region. You'll be responsible for the installation, calibration, and commissioning of advanced equipment, ensuring optimal performance from day one. The position emphasizes preventive maintenance protocols to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifecycles. As a key technical troubleshooter, you'll diagnose complex mechanical and electrical systems, providing rapid solutions to maintain operational continuity. Your expertise will directly impact client satisfaction through reliable repair services and technical guidance. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve challenging technical issues.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and calibration of specialized equipment
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and compliance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related malfunctions
- Document service activities, maintenance reports, and equipment performance metrics
- Provide technical training to clients on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Coordinate with internal teams for parts procurement and service logistics
- Maintain company vehicles and service tools in optimal condition
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years' experience in field service or maintenance engineering
- Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving abilities
- Singapore driving license with clean record for regional travel
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and equipment manuals
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in field environments
