As a Field Service Engineer I, you will be the direct interface between Waters and our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will involve providing essential on-site technical support, including the installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair services for our sophisticated range of liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrometry (MS), and other advanced analytical systems. You will play a crucial role in supporting customers in critical sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, environmental monitoring, and food safety, helping them achieve their scientific and business objectives with minimal downtime. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform installation, qualification, and validation of Waters analytical instrumentation at customer sites in Singapore and potentially the broader region.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on complex scientific equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting and support, resolving instrument issues efficiently and effectively.
- Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of Waters systems, ensuring their proficiency and satisfaction.
- Manage service requests, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate service records and documentation using Waters' CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with sales, applications, and technical support teams to address customer needs and enhance overall service delivery.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Proactively identify opportunities for service contract renewals and upgrades, contributing to business growth.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 0-3 years of experience in field service, instrument repair, or technical support, preferably within the analytical instrumentation or medical device industry.
- Strong foundational knowledge of electronics, electromechanical systems, and computer hardware/software.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay) is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Singapore and occasionally regionally as required.
- Valid Singapore driving license is often required for field roles.
