We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Field Support Engineer (L1) to join our team in Rasau Kerteh, Terengganu. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end-users requiring technical assistance. You will deliver high-quality on-site and remote support, ensuring that all incidents and service requests are resolved promptly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT support, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. You will manage the entire lifecycle of devices, from deployment to retirement, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies. SLA-driven service delivery is a key component of this role, so you must be able to prioritize and manage your time effectively.
As a Field Support Engineer, you will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and proposing preventive measures. You will collaborate with other IT team members and external vendors to maintain a stable and secure IT environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage device lifecycle including deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in IT service management system.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role.
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work on-site in Rasau Kerteh, Terengganu.
