About the Role
Octomate is proud to partner with a leading organization in the Public Sector Transportation industry to recruit a detail-oriented and strategic FinOps Engineer. As cloud infrastructure becomes the backbone of modern public services, the need for efficient financial management is paramount. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor cloud consumption across AWS environments to identify cost-saving opportunities and anomalies.
- Implement and manage FinOps best practices, including right-sizing, reserved instances, and savings plans.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure architectural designs are cost-effective.
- Develop and maintain automated financial dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders.
- Drive the 'Tagging Policy' and resource allocation tagging to ensure 100% cost accountability.
- Facilitate monthly cloud budget reviews and provide accurate forecasting for public sector projects.
- Negotiate and manage enterprise agreements and cloud service provider contracts.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Cloud Financial Management or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and AWS Cost Management tools.
- Hold a FinOps Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner designation (preferred).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into financial insights.
- Experience working within the Public Sector or large-scale transportation systems is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
