Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire prevention programs and strategies in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections of facilities, equipment, and ongoing construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Design and deliver effective fire safety training and awareness programs for all employees and contractors, including emergency evacuation procedures and the proper use of fire-fighting equipment.
- Lead the development and periodic review of emergency response plans, coordinate fire drills, and act as a primary point of contact during fire-related emergencies.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment, including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and detection systems, are regularly inspected, maintained, and in optimal working condition.
- Investigate all fire incidents, near-misses, and related accidents, preparing detailed reports with findings and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with local fire authorities, emergency services, and other relevant external bodies on fire safety matters and incident coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, training, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fire safety management, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (CFSM) or other relevant professional certifications (e.g., OSH, NEBOSH, DOSH Green Book).
- Thorough knowledge of Malaysian fire safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., Uniform Building By-Laws, OSHA, FMA).
- Proven ability to conduct fire risk assessments, develop emergency response plans, and deliver effective safety training.
- Proficiency in identifying fire hazards, interpreting safety data, and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to safety management.
