We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join the engineering team at Soon Soon Oilmills Sdn. Bhd. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and disassembling mechanical components to meet precise engineering specifications. You will perform regular maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime, ensuring our operations run smoothly. We are looking for a problem-solver who can interpret technical drawings and collaborate effectively with our engineering department to implement quality improvements.
Tanggung Jawab
- Fabricate and disassemble mechanical components and equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on oil mill machinery and production line equipment.
- Identify faults in mechanical systems and troubleshoot issues to restore optimal functionality.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to company safety standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to plan maintenance schedules and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related Vocational Trade (Fitter).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in a fitting or mechanical maintenance role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of fitting techniques, machining, welding, and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid certifications in welding or related trades are a plus.
