Are you a creative visionary with a passion for footwear? PT Yumeida Utama is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Footwear Designer (2D & 3D) to join our growing design team in Medan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, transforming innovative concepts into functional and stylish footwear collections.
You will work closely with our production and marketing teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and material innovation to ensure our products stand out in a competitive market. The ideal candidate possesses a balance of artistic flair and technical precision, capable of bringing ideas to life through advanced 3D modeling and detailed 2D technical specifications.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop original footwear and sandal concepts from initial ideation to final product visualization.
- Create accurate 2D technical sketches (tech packs) including material specifications and construction details.
- Develop high-quality 3D models and digital renderings for prototype review and approval.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to source innovative materials and components.
- Monitor global fashion trends and competitor movements to maintain a modern design aesthetic.
- Ensure all designs meet manufacturing cost constraints, quality standards, and production timelines.
- Participate in regular design reviews and iterate on prototypes based on team feedback.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Footwear Designer or in a similar creative role.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, or Romans CAD).
- Deep understanding of footwear anatomy, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent portfolio demonstrating creative versatility and technical competence in both 2D and 3D.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict design deadlines.
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken Indonesian and English.
