As a Forwarding Agent, you will ensure that all shipments adhere to local and international laws, handling complex documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, and resolving customs issues swiftly. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance procedures for imports and exports, ensuring timely release of goods.
- Prepare, verify, and file all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain flow.
- Monitor cargo status closely and communicate any delays, damages, or regulatory issues immediately to the relevant parties.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with Malaysian Customs Act and trade laws.
- Update and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all shipment data, tracking systems, and customs filings.
- Assist in the resolution of customs audits, investigations, and any ad-hoc regulatory inquiries.
Kualifikasi
- Possession of Sijil Kursus Ejen Kastam (Customs Agent Course Certificate) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in forwarding, logistics, or customs brokerage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations, tariff codes, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics management software.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Sabah when required.
