Shui Xing Ventures Sdn Bhd, a rapidly growing force in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Forwarding Declaration Assistant to join our operations team. Based in the strategic logistics hub of Klang/Port Klang, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating complex international shipments and ensuring full compliance with Malaysian customs regulations.
As a Forwarding Declaration Assistant, you will be the central point of contact for managing critical shipping documentation and customs clearance processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve liaising with internal departments, shipping lines, and government agencies to facilitate the smooth flow of goods across borders. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and process accurate customs declarations and shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate daily forwarding operations to ensure shipments are booked, tracked, and delivered efficiently to meet customer timelines.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve any shipment discrepancies or delays promptly.
- Verify all import and export documentation for compliance with Malaysian customs regulations (Kastam) and other relevant trade authorities.
- Monitor shipment statuses proactively and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding ETA, ETD, and potential transit issues.
- Handle inbound and outbound correspondence related to shipment bookings, amendments, rate negotiations, and cargo tracking.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for all shipping records and documentation, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing cost summaries, freight invoices, and monthly reports for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also welcome to apply.
- Strong working knowledge of customs declaration processes, HS Code classification, and import/export procedures in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and experience with forwarding or customs software (e.g., CargoWise, TradeNet, or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage for handling international clients.
- Own transport and willingness to work in the Klang/Port Klang area.
