We are currently looking for a dedicated Freight Brokerage Support Associate to join our team in Makati City. In this role, you will be integral to our freight operations, assisting brokers with day-to-day tasks, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely and accurate document processing. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the brokerage team, maintaining records, communicating with stakeholders, and helping streamline processes to improve efficiency. We are looking for someone who is highly organized with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail. You will be responsible for assisting in rate negotiations, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
This is a full-time position based in Makati City, offering a competitive salary in the range of PHP 25,000 to PHP 35,000 per month, along with benefits and opportunities for career advancement. - Support the freight brokerage team in daily operational tasks and coordination.
- Communicate with shippers and carriers to schedule and confirm shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in rate negotiations and contract management to optimize costs.
- Resolve issues and discrepancies to ensure smooth freight movement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software (e.g., TMS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and industry trends.
