In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of fuel system design, installation, and operation specifically tailored for state-of-the-art data centers.
As a Fuel Lead Engineer, your primary mission is to ensure the continuous reliability of backup power systems, guaranteeing that our data center operations remain uninterrupted even during power outages. You will act as the subject matter expert in fuel storage, distribution, and generator integration, strictly adhering to international safety and environmental compliance standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end design, engineering, and specification of fuel systems for critical data center backup generators.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fuel storage tanks, piping, and transfer systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum reliability of fuel delivery systems.
- Ensure all fuel system operations comply with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, facility managers, and external contractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and system audits to identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Respond to emergency system failures and lead root-cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fuel system engineering, preferably within data centers, power plants, or heavy industries.
- Deep technical knowledge of diesel generators, fuel storage tanks, day tanks, and fuel polishing systems.
- Strong understanding of fire safety codes, environmental compliance, and hazardous materials handling.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects from conceptual design to operational handover.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
