Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene protocols, and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff members on cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor food quality and freshness, implementing proper storage and handling practices
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours while maintaining consistency
Kualifikasi
- Relevant culinary certification or diploma in culinary arts is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, public holidays, and evening hours
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
