- Conduct engaging and interactive lessons for students according to the Tutorjohn curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Prepare lesson materials, assignments, and examination papers to reinforce learning objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic staff to continuously improve teaching strategies and course content.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance professional development.
- Foster a positive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Identify students' learning gaps and implement intervention strategies to address them.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education, a relevant subject discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with Primary or Secondary school students.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
- Highly organised, responsible, and genuinely passionate about student development and academic success.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles and abilities.
- Available to work full-time in Tampines West (weekend availability may be required).
- Teaching certification (e.g., MOE, Diploma in Education, or PGDE) is considered a strong advantage.
