Are you a detail-oriented design professional with a passion for high-quality furniture? Philux, Inc., a renowned leader in fine furniture craftsmanship, is looking for a skilled Furniture Draftsman to join our production team in Paranaque City. In this role, you will be the bridge between creative concept and tangible reality, transforming design visions into precise technical production documents.
You will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that every piece of furniture we produce meets our exacting standards of quality and aesthetics. We are looking for a creative yet technical mind who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a deep understanding of furniture joinery, materials, and production methodologies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed technical production drawings for bespoke and mass-produced furniture pieces.
- Create accurate 3D models and renderings to assist in the design visualization process.
- Generate comprehensive cutting lists and bill of materials (BOM) for the production floor.
- Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot potential manufacturing issues during the drafting phase.
- Maintain an organized library of digital assets and CAD templates.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with project specifications and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to review prototypes and implement design adjustments.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Furniture Draftsman or CAD Designer in a furniture manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; experience with SketchUp is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop for high-quality visual presentations.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, joinery, and material properties (wood, metal, upholstery).
- Ability to interpret complex sketches and architectural plans into readable shop drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict project deadlines.
- A relevant degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or related Engineering fields is an advantage.
