As a Furniture Estimator, your primary mission is to transform conceptual designs into reality by calculating precise material costs, labor requirements, and production timelines. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are both aesthetically stunning and economically viable. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Calculate accurate material, hardware, and labor costs for custom furniture pieces.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-effective.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive price quotations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor production progress to ensure adherence to initial estimates and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform calibration and quality control assessments during the prototyping phase.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of material costs, supplier pricing, and industry benchmarks.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture estimation, cost analysis, or furniture production supervision.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Microsoft Excel for cost modeling.
- Strong understanding of various furniture materials, including wood, metal, fabrics, and specialized hardware.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of mathematical precision.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with production teams and project managers.
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously under tight deadlines.
