Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia is seeking a highly skilled Galvanized Specialist to lead our galvanizing operations in Surabaya. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end hot-dip galvanizing operations to ensure optimal coating thickness and adhesion.
- Conduct regular process audits to monitor chemical bath compositions and temperatures.
- Perform comprehensive inspections of finished goods to ensure adherence to ASTM/ISO galvanizing standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for any coating defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all galvanizing machinery and equipment operate at peak performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and optimize chemical consumption.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations within the plant.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial galvanizing processes or metal surface treatment.
- Deep technical knowledge of chemical processes, pickling, fluxing, and molten zinc bath management.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and thickness measurement gauges.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical reports and quality data.
- Excellent leadership capabilities and the ability to train operational staff on technical procedures.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; technical English proficiency is an advantage.
