Tanggung Jawab
- Carry out manual and semi-automated assembly of marine components and parts as per technical drawings and instructions.
- Perform general cleaning, degreasing, and maintenance of workshop tools, machinery, and workspaces to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and handling equipment following strict safety protocols.
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and storage of materials, supplies, and marine equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas, reporting any defects, hazards, or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
- Support the engineering team with ad-hoc tasks including welding preparation, surface grinding, and material cutting.
- Comply with all workplace safety and environmental regulations, participating actively in safety briefings and drills.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly at the end of each shift.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in a general worker, warehouse assistant, or labor-intensive role is preferred, ideally within a marine, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with using basic hand tools (spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, grinders).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training for specific marine procedures and safety standards.
- Must be comfortable working in Joo Koon, West Region.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ) or a forklift license is an advantage but not required.
