Tanggung Jawab
- Design and analyze foundation systems, retaining walls, and earthworks for various infrastructure projects
- Prepare detailed geotechnical calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and data interpretation to inform design decisions
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Standard Codes of Practice (MSCP) and international engineering standards
- Collaborate with structural engineers, project managers, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical solutions
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and construction recommendations
- Review and approve contractor submittals related to geotechnical aspects
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in geotechnical design and analysis
- Professional registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, Slope/W)
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles
- Experience with AutoCAD and BIM modeling tools
- Demonstrated ability to interpret geotechnical investigation reports
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
