ByteDance is seeking a visionary leader for the Global Edge Delivery and Operation Lead position within our Data Center Service (DCS) team. As we continue to scale our global footprint, the need for robust, high-performance edge infrastructure is paramount. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our hyperscale data centers, ensuring seamless delivery of content to billions of users worldwide. You will drive operational excellence, manage complex vendor relationships, and implement cutting-edge automation strategies to enhance system reliability and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture and a passion for building scalable solutions that support our fast-growing ecosystem.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the strategy and execution for global edge delivery networks and data center operations.
- Oversee the full lifecycle management of hyperscale infrastructure, from design and deployment to decommissioning.
- Drive operational efficiency through automation, real-time monitoring, and proactive capacity planning.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company-wide technical goals and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies for hardware and cloud resources.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in data center operations, network engineering, or cloud infrastructure management.
- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale technical teams and cross-functional projects.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDN).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) for automation is highly preferred.
