Micron Semiconductors is seeking a visionary Global Energy Procurement Manager to join our team in Singapore. In this critical role, you will define and execute global energy sourcing strategies, influencing billions in spend to drive our transition toward carbon-free energy goals.
You will lead cross-functional efforts to optimize energy portfolios, navigate complex regulatory landscapes, and manage high-value vendor relationships across our global manufacturing footprint. - Develop and execute a global energy procurement strategy aligned with carbon-neutrality targets.
- Manage billions in global energy spend, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and price stability.
- Lead complex negotiations with energy providers, government bodies, and utility partners across multiple geographies.
- Analyze energy market trends and regulatory developments to mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize energy consumption patterns.
- Implement renewable energy sourcing programs, including PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) negotiations.
- Prepare executive-level reporting on energy spend, savings, and sustainability progress.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in energy procurement, commodity trading, or strategic sourcing within a global industrial environment.
- Proven track record in negotiating high-value energy contracts and managing international vendors.
- Deep understanding of global energy markets, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and carbon accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on cost modeling, risk management, and market intelligence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the semiconductor or heavy manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.
