We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Grade Control Specialist to join our mining operations team in Morowali. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the precise extraction of ore by ensuring that material grades meet our stringent processing requirements. You will work closely with geological and production teams to minimize dilution, maximize recovery, and optimize the overall value of our mining output.
The successful candidate will leverage advanced mining software and on-site sampling data to guide daily excavation activities. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and direct daily excavation activities to ensure ore quality meets grade specifications.
- Conduct regular field inspections and sampling programs to verify geological models.
- Collaborate with the mine planning and production teams to execute short-term mining plans.
- Utilize mining software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan, or Deswik) to update grade control models and projections.
- Analyze sampling data to identify and mitigate issues related to ore dilution and loss.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly reports on grade performance and production metrics.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental protocols at the mining site.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in grade control or mine production within the mining industry.
- Proficiency in specialized mining software for resource modeling and grade control.
- Strong understanding of mineral deposit geology and extraction processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and assay data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating effectively with on-site heavy equipment operators and engineers.
- Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to roster-based work schedules.
