U Hotel Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a motivated and professional Guest Service Assistant / Guest Service Executive to join our dynamic team in Gelugor, Penang. In this role, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest receives world-class service from the moment they arrive until their departure.

As a member of our front office team, you will handle inquiries, manage bookings, and resolve guest concerns with a warm and professional attitude. We offer a structured work environment with a 5-day work week and a comprehensive benefits package, including meals, transport, and night shift allowances. Tanggung Jawab

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in/check-out process.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and efficiently to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Manage room bookings, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel management system.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation options.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy front desk environment at all times.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of daily transactions.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security protocols during various shifts.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum SPM/STPM or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer service role is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work on a rotational shift basis (Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts).
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using office software and reservation systems.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
