We are seeking a dedicated and professional Guest Services Officer to join the exceptional team at Momentus Hotel Alexandra. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class hospitality experience. You will manage the front office operations, ensuring that every guest check-in and check-out is seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for handling guest inquiries with warmth and efficiency, managing reservations, and overseeing cashiering duties. You will also have the opportunity to assist with room upgrades and special requests, ensuring that our guests feel valued and well-cared for. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage front desk operations, including efficient guest check-ins and check-outs using PMS systems.
- Handle incoming guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a focus on problem resolution and satisfaction.
- Process and manage reservations, room bookings, and special requests accurately.
- Assist with cashiering duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Coordinate room upgrades and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming lobby environment at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of New Zealand hospitality standards and guest relations is an asset.
