Join our dynamic educational community at Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen Gloria Surabaya as a Guidance and Counseling Teacher. This pivotal role focuses on nurturing students' personal development and professional readiness through targeted soft skill instruction. You'll create engaging lesson plans covering critical competencies like teamwork, presentation techniques, and leadership development, preparing students for future academic and career challenges. Beyond classroom instruction, you'll conduct individual counseling sessions, facilitate group workshops on emotional intelligence, and collaborate with faculty to integrate social-emotional learning across the curriculum.
As a key member of our student support team, you'll design intervention strategies for academic and personal growth, maintain confidential student records, and organize career guidance workshops. Your expertise will help cultivate a positive school climate where students develop resilience, self-awareness, and effective communication skills. This position requires a blend of pedagogical knowledge and psychological insight to address diverse student needs while fostering a culture of mutual respect and continuous improvement.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement soft skills curriculum including teamwork, presentation skills, and leadership modules
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, personal, and social development
- Design and facilitate workshops on emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and goal setting
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate counseling principles into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation for counseling interventions
- Organize career guidance sessions and higher education planning workshops
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing personal or academic challenges
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Teaching certification with specialization in student guidance/counseling
- Minimum 2 years experience in educational counseling or soft skills instruction
- Strong knowledge of adolescent development and learning methodologies
- Certification in first aid and crisis intervention procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
- Experience developing culturally responsive counseling programs
- Proficiency in student record management systems
