Agilent Technologies is a global leader in the life sciences and diagnostics, communications, and electronics markets. We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Hardware Test Engineer to join our high-performance team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our advanced electronic products. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support the full hardware development lifecycle, from initial design concepts through to final validation and system integration.
As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will drive excellence in our testing processes by developing robust test plans, performing rigorous functional testing, and conducting detailed failure analysis to resolve technical issues. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining Agilent's high standards of measurement and accuracy, contributing significantly to our product success in the global market.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct detailed schematic reviews and design verification for new hardware products to ensure design integrity.
- Execute comprehensive functional testing, signal integrity analysis, and EMI/EMC compliance testing.
- Perform in-depth PCBA failure analysis to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and test cases to support production readiness.
- Collaborate with R&D and firmware teams to troubleshoot complex system integration issues.
- Document test results, bug reports, and technical findings accurately for stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hardware testing, validation, and failure analysis.
- Strong proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics and datasheets.
- Experience with PCB layout principles and component-level troubleshooting is highly desirable.
