Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the daily performance of the barista team to ensure high-quality output.
- Maintain excellence in coffee preparation, including latte art, espresso extraction, and manual brew methods.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including coffee beans, milk, and other essential supplies.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are met at the bar and service areas.
- Create and update staff schedules while ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires regarding coffee brewing techniques and brand standards.
- Report directly to management on daily sales performance and operational challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in a specialty coffee shop.
- Strong understanding of coffee science, including grind adjustments, extraction theory, and sensory analysis.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian and basic English.
- Exceptional time management and ability to perform well under high-pressure environments.
- Possess a valid Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- High school diploma or vocational school (SMK) in Hospitality/Tourism is preferred.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and rotating shifts.
