We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar operations and elevate the guest experience. As the Head Bartender, you will be responsible for curating innovative cocktail menus, managing bar inventory, and training a dedicated team of bartenders. You will play a key role in delivering the highest standards of service, creativity, and luxury that define Kempinski.

Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing bar setup, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and interacting with guests to provide personalized recommendations. You will collaborate with the culinary team to design seasonal and event-specific beverage programs. Tanggung Jawab

  • Craft and serve a diverse range of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverages according to Kempinski's high standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise the bar team to ensure consistent quality, excellent service, and a positive work environment.
  • Develop and update the cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients, trends, and guest preferences.
  • Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • Interact with guests to provide personalized recommendations, ensure satisfaction, and handle any feedback or complaints.
  • Collaborate with the F&B and events teams to coordinate beverage service for banquets, functions, and special events.
  • Monitor sales and cost performance, assisting in budgeting and achieving revenue targets.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or high-end bar.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, spirits, and current trends in the beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a guest-centric approach.
  • Certification in bartending, mixology, or hospitality management is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • High school diploma required; a degree or diploma in hospitality or culinary arts is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of bar inventory systems and point-of-sale software is a plus.
