Are you a passionate culinary leader ready to elevate the dining scene in one of Bali's most beautiful and culturally rich coastal regions? A premier hospitality establishment in Karangasem, Bali is looking for an exceptional, creative, and experienced Head Chef to take command of our kitchen operations.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our culinary identity. You will have the unique opportunity to design and execute innovative menus that blend local Balinese flavors with international culinary trends, sourcing fresh ingredients from local markets and sustainable providers. We are looking for a true professional who is not only a master of the culinary arts but also an inspiring mentor who can lead, train, and develop a dedicated kitchen team.

Please note that we are also currently conducting a wider recruitment drive, with open positions for Front Office Supervisors, Bartenders, Hostesses, Cook Staff (Daily Worker), and Server Staff (Daily Worker).

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage all daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Design, develop, and update innovative menus incorporating local Balinese ingredients and international culinary styles.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and mentor the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Control food costs and labor budgets, analyze kitchen performance, and optimize purchasing and inventory levels.
  • Enforce strict compliance with global food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP/CHSE).
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with front-of-house (FOH) teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef in a reputable hotel, luxury resort, or busy fine-dining restaurant.
  • Deep knowledge of diverse culinary styles, local Balinese ingredients, and international cuisines.
  • Proven track record in successful kitchen management, menu engineering, and food cost control.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with conversational English proficiency preferred to interact with international guests and team members.
  • Relevant culinary degree, diploma, or professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to relocate to or work in the scenic region of Karangasem, Bali.
