- Develop and implement innovative menus that align with restaurant concept and guest preferences
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory management, and waste reduction
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients
- Manage kitchen operations during peak hours and special events
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of menu development and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
