EVDEkimi Real Estates is thrilled to invite a visionary and experienced Head Chef to join our pre-opening team in the cultural heart of Ubud, Bali. We are looking for a culinary leader who is passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences and setting the highest standards for quality and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to build a kitchen culture from the ground up and leave a lasting legacy in one of the world's most beautiful destinations.

As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring seamless coordination between the culinary team and the front of house. You will be responsible for curating a menu that celebrates local Balinese ingredients while maintaining international culinary excellence. You will lead by example, mentor junior staff, and manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability without compromising on quality.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation.
  • Develop and refine innovative menus that highlight local Balinese flavors and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage food costs, inventory levels, and purchasing to ensure budget adherence.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise a brigade of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and F&B team to ensure a seamless guest dining experience.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on dishes to guarantee consistency and excellence.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in a pre-opening or high-volume environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Deep knowledge of international cuisine and local Balinese ingredients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen setting.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is highly desirable.
