Utopia Culinary Indonesia is seeking a talented and driven Head Chef / Chef de Partie to lead our kitchen operations in Tangerang Selatan. We are looking for a visionary who can balance authentic Korean flavors with modern kitchen management standards.

In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our kitchen, overseeing everything from recipe development and food preparation to team leadership and inventory management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our kitchen runs with military precision while maintaining the highest levels of food hygiene and quality control.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and oversee all daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food delivery and timely service.
  • Develop and refine authentic Korean menus while maintaining consistency in flavor profiles and presentation.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and optimize food cost control to minimize waste.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen brigade members, fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards).
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate with suppliers for high-quality ingredient procurement.
  • Analyze food cost reports and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a strong focus on Korean cuisine.
  • Proven track record in a Head Chef or Chef de Partie role within a high-volume restaurant.
  • Deep understanding of Korean culinary techniques, spices, and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and profit management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly preferred.
