Are you a visionary culinary artist with a passion for excellence? We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in the heart of Badung, Bali. This is a unique opportunity to shape the menu, manage a talented kitchen brigade, and deliver world-class dining experiences in one of the world's most vibrant hospitality destinations.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of culinary quality, food safety, and kitchen profitability. You will bring your creative flair to the menu, leveraging fresh, locally sourced Balinese ingredients while adhering to international fine-dining standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader capable of fostering a positive team culture while ensuring seamless service delivery under high-pressure conditions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute creative, high-quality menus that align with current food trends and guest preferences.
- Direct daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
- Mentor, lead, and train kitchen staff to ensure professional development and consistent performance.
- Maintain strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Manage food inventory, procurement, and cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate closely with front-of-house management to ensure a flawless guest dining experience.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure a safe and organized workspace for all staff.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef role.
- Proven track record in luxury hospitality or upscale restaurant environments.
- Expertise in food costing, budget management, and operational P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Formal culinary degree or certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional knowledge of food safety and international sanitation protocols.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Badung, Bali.
