Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation meets the restaurant's high standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and refine seasonal menus, with a specific focus on authentic flavors and the signature Mala style cuisine.
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP standards, health regulations, and food safety protocols at all times.
- Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team, conducting regular performance reviews and skill development.
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the kitchen.
Kualifikasi
- At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar Head Chef role within the F&B industry, preferably in a multi-outlet restaurant chain.
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, with a preference for candidates who understand the nuances of Sichuan or spicy flavors.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and overseeing kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Singaporean Food Handler Certificate or equivalent hygiene qualification.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
