Our client, a premier dining destination located in the vibrant area of Kuta Selatan, Bali, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef / Manager to lead their kitchen brigade. This is a unique opportunity to combine your culinary expertise with management responsibilities in a stunning tropical setting.

As the Head Chef / Manager, you will take full ownership of the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and innovation. You will develop seasonal menus that showcase the best of Indonesian and international cuisine, source fresh local ingredients, and maintain a creative yet cost-effective kitchen.

You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring a diverse team of chefs, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Financial management, including inventory control, budgeting, and wastage reduction, will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

We are looking for a visionary leader with at least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a reputable establishment. Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience is preferred. Knowledge of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine is a strong advantage.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisines.
  • Proven ability to control costs and manage budgets.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative with a passion for innovation in food.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
