In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, cost efficiency, and team morale. Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and mentor the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Drive menu innovation by developing seasonal, trend-setting Western dishes that resonate with our brand and clientele.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health standards (HACCP).
  • Manage food cost control, inventory procurement, and waste management to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align culinary strategies with overall business objectives and customer feedback.
  • Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation across all service shifts.
  • Train staff on cooking techniques, plating styles, and efficient kitchen workflows.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a Head Chef or Sous Chef role.
  • Strong background in Western cuisine, including contemporary techniques and menu development.
  • Proven track record of managing kitchen P&L, food costs, and inventory systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards in Malaysia.
  • Creative mindset combined with a disciplined, process-oriented approach to kitchen management.
  • Fluency in English and Malay; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
