Palma Serasih Group is looking for a highly experienced Head Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of our extensive fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. We value precision and technical expertise, and we are seeking a leader who can manage a team of technicians and drive operational excellence.
As the Head Mechanic, you will play a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring the longevity of our assets. You will also be tasked with mentoring junior staff, conducting technical inspections, and coordinating with management to address complex mechanical challenges.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery to identify potential issues before they become critical failures.
- Supervise and lead a team of mechanics, providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Diagnose complex mechanical faults and perform repairs using advanced diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts, lubricants, and tools, ensuring that necessary supplies are always available.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to local safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, repair costs, and equipment status reports.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery repair and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Diesel Mechanics is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues under time constraints.
- Valid driving license (SIM A/B) and a thorough understanding of traffic regulations in Indonesia.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a technical team effectively.
