We are currently seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Energy Sector to spearhead our energy division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our diverse energy portfolio, including hydro, diesel Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects, and expanding our solar footprint.
As the Head of Energy Sector, you will drive business strategy, ensure the profitability of existing energy operations, and foster high-level partnerships with key stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced leader who combines deep technical expertise in power generation with commercial acumen to navigate complex regulatory environments and identify new market opportunities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute the overarching strategic vision for the Energy Sector to ensure long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
- Oversee end-to-end management of hydro, diesel IPP, and solar energy assets, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Manage commercial negotiations, contract management, and financial performance of energy projects.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects are delivered within time and budget constraints.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to keep Eden Group at the forefront of the energy market.
- Implement robust operational processes to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency across all energy sites.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the energy sector, with specific exposure to IPP operations or renewable energy projects.
- Proven track record in leadership roles with significant P&L responsibility.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian energy regulations, grid codes, and electricity supply market dynamics.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a project-based environment.
