Summarecon is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Engineering to oversee the technical operations and infrastructure maintenance of the prestigious Mall Kelapa Gading. As a leader in the Indonesian property and retail landscape, we pride ourselves on maintaining world-class facilities that provide seamless experiences for our tenants and visitors alike.
In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for the strategic management of all engineering systems, including M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) infrastructure, HVAC systems, and building automation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of large-scale commercial building operations, safety compliance, and sustainable energy management. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that our facilities operate at peak performance, safety, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic oversight for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all M&E systems, including electrical power distribution, air conditioning, and fire protection systems within the mall.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the engineering department, ensuring high standards of technical performance and professional development.
- Develop and manage the annual engineering budget, including capital expenditure planning and operational cost optimization.
- Ensure full compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and environmental health policies (K3).
- Oversee the management of technical contractors and third-party vendors to ensure SLA targets are met.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of building assets.
- Drive energy management initiatives to improve building sustainability and reduce utility overheads.
- Respond effectively to critical technical incidents and emergencies to ensure minimal disruption to mall operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (S1).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience as a Head of Engineering or Chief Engineer, specifically within the shopping center, mall, or large-scale commercial building industry.
- Expert knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, power generators, and MEP infrastructure.
- Possess a valid SKA (Surat Keterangan Keahlian) or relevant professional certifications in building engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations in a 24/7 retail environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian safety and building codes.
