Join PERSOL as our Head of Engineering (Solar Project) and lead the strategic development and execution of large-scale solar energy initiatives. This pivotal role requires visionary leadership to drive engineering excellence across the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to commissioning. You will spearhead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solar solutions that advance Malaysia's renewable energy landscape while ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The position demands a deep understanding of solar technologies, project management methodologies, and sustainable engineering practices to optimize resource allocation and mitigate risks. Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering strategies with business objectives, mentor technical teams to foster professional growth, and implement cutting-edge technologies that enhance project scalability and profitability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive engineering strategies for large-scale solar projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
- Optimize project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Drive innovation in solar technology integration and sustainable engineering practices
- Establish KPIs and monitor project performance against strategic objectives
- Forge strategic partnerships with technology providers and industry stakeholders
- Report on engineering progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to executive leadership
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in solar/renewable energy
- Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects (>50MW solar capacity)
- Strong expertise in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project delivery
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification with demonstrable leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions
- Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, ETAP, PVsyst) and project management tools
