We are seeking a seasoned Head of Manufacturing to provide strategic leadership for our poultry processing facility in Negeri Sembilan. In this critical role, you will oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring the highest standards of production efficiency, yield optimization, and food safety. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence while maintaining strict adherence to JAKIM Halal compliance and international quality standards.
The successful candidate will manage the entire value chain, from primary processing through to the cold chain and logistics. We are looking for a visionary leader who can mentor high-performing teams, implement lean manufacturing principles, and deliver sustainable cost improvements in a high-volume poultry processing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic oversight of end-to-end poultry processing operations, including slaughtering, evisceration, portioning, and cold chain distribution.
- Lead and mentor plant management teams to foster a culture of safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Ensure 100% compliance with JAKIM Halal certification requirements, food safety standards (HACCP, ISO), and regulatory mandates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product yields, reduce waste, and manage production costs effectively.
- Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects to upgrade machinery and improve technological infrastructure within the plant.
- Manage production planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery and alignment with market demand.
- Develop and implement robust SOPs to maintain consistent quality control across all production lines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the poultry processing industry.
- Deep knowledge of Halal compliance regulations and the specific requirements for JAKIM certification in Malaysia.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial plants with a focus on lean manufacturing and process optimization.
- Strong background in cold chain logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in managing P&L for a manufacturing unit is highly preferred.
