Are you a seasoned precision engineering professional with a passion for mould fabrication and workshop optimization? Greyform is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Mould Shop to lead our technical operations in Pekan Nanas, Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our mould workshop, ensuring that all former fabrication, maintenance, and modification processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
As the Head of Mould Shop, you will oversee the full lifecycle of mould management, from initial fabrication to complex repairs and routine maintenance. You will lead a dedicated team, implement lean manufacturing practices, and ensure that our production requirements are met with precision and speed. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a technical environment and is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the mould workshop, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage the fabrication, modification, and repair of moulds and formers to support seamless manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of mould assets.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accuracy, and professional growth.
- Coordinate with production and engineering departments to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize mould designs for performance.
- Maintain precise documentation and inventory records for all mould components, materials, and workshop equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industrial standards within the workshop environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workshop efficiency and reduce fabrication lead times.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mould shop management or precision tool making.
- Strong technical expertise in mould design, fabrication processes (CNC, milling, grinding), and maintenance.
- Proven track record in managing workshop operations and leading technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using CAD/CAM software for mould fabrication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational accuracy.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving team performance.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
