We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Operations for our large-scale food manufacturing facility located in Tanjung Langsat, Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of our manufacturing operations, driving efficiency, quality, and safety standards across the board. You will oversee a diverse team of professionals, manage complex production schedules, and ensure seamless integration between production, logistics, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a proven ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles and optimize operational workflows. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the food manufacturing plant to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
- Manage the full operational budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO), and HALAL requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Optimize production workflows and supply chain logistics to minimize waste and reduce operational costs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and quality assurance.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and external vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) and introduce innovative technologies to modernize the facility.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and production processes.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale operations, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
