We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Qualitative Research to lead our qualitative research practice in Jakarta. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee a team of qualitative researchers, drive methodological innovation, and ensure the delivery of actionable insights to clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design bespoke qualitative studies, and champion the value of qualitative research within the organization.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned qualitative research professional with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural insights, and advanced research techniques. You have a proven track record of leading teams, building client relationships, and contributing to business growth. Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and manage the qualitative research team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Design and oversee qualitative research projects including focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographies, and online communities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored research solutions that deliver deep insights.
  • Drive methodological innovation by integrating new approaches such as digital ethnography, semiotics, and behavioral science.
  • Ensure the quality and rigor of research outputs, from fieldwork through analysis and reporting.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders in a compelling and actionable manner.
  • Contribute to new business development by preparing proposals, participating in pitches, and building strong client relationships.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure operational efficiency.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in qualitative research, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Deep expertise in qualitative research methods including focus groups, IDIs, ethnography, and online qualitative platforms.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to translate raw data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent client management and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
  • Proven experience in business development, proposal writing, and pitching.
  • Fluency in both English and Indonesian is required.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for understanding human behavior and cultural trends.
