MVC Resources is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of R&D and Innovation to spearhead our plant research and development initiatives in Seremban. As a key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end innovation lifecycle, from fundamental research to the successful implementation of new technologies and processes on the plant floor.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, optimize existing manufacturing processes, and pioneer cutting-edge solutions that enhance product quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical background in industrial R&D, a passion for scientific advancement, and the leadership acumen to translate complex data into actionable business outcomes.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute a long-term R&D roadmap aligned with company growth objectives and market demands.
- Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new product formulations and manufacturing process improvements.
- Manage the entire R&D budget, resources, and laboratory facilities to ensure optimal output and safety standards.
- Drive a culture of innovation by identifying emerging industry trends and disruptive technologies.
- Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure seamless scalability from lab to factory floor.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios, patent filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Mentor and coach high-performing engineering and scientific teams to drive technical excellence.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an industrial R&D environment, with at least 4 years in a management capacity.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and process optimization in a plant setting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and statistical process control.
- Excellent knowledge of industrial safety protocols, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus for operational coordination.
