Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive chartering strategies to optimize fleet utilization and profitability.
- Maintain full P&L accountability for the shipping division, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Lead and mentor the operations and chartering teams to ensure excellence in daily logistical execution.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key brokers, charterers, and strategic maritime partners.
- Monitor global market trends to proactively adjust shipping strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Report performance metrics directly to the executive board, providing actionable insights for business expansion.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in commercial shipping, chartering, or maritime operations.
- Proven track record in managing full P&L responsibilities for a maritime business unit.
- Deep understanding of dry bulk or tanker markets, charter party agreements, and maritime law.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an established network within the Singapore maritime ecosystem.
