Are you a seasoned Supply Chain professional looking to make a significant impact in the manufacturing sector? Our client is seeking a visionary Head of Supply Chain to lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a critical leadership role designed for an individual who excels at strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing the flow of goods, managing complex logistics, and driving efficiency across all business units. We are looking for a results-oriented leader who can navigate the fast-paced environment of the Johor industrial corridor, ensuring our supply chain remains a competitive advantage. You will work closely with executive leadership to refine procurement strategies, streamline warehousing, and implement cutting-edge inventory management solutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team to meet and exceed departmental KPIs.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships and negotiate with global and local vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Implement data-driven inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end supply chain operations in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the logistics landscape in Johor and the broader Malaysian market.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate company goals into actionable operational plans.
