Are you a master of dough, glazes, and artisanal flavors? Pawon Tempuran is looking for a creative and highly skilled Head Pastry Chef to lead our kitchen team. Famous for our signature 'Donatsur' concept, we are seeking a culinary expert who is passionate about pastry innovation, quality consistency, and elevating the customer experience through world-class baked goods.
As our Head Pastry Chef, you will not only be responsible for the daily production of high-quality pastries and donuts but also for the strategic development of our seasonal menus. You will oversee a dynamic team, manage inventory, and ensure our kitchen operations meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute innovative pastry and donut menus that align with our 'Donatsur' brand identity.
- Manage end-to-end production operations, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
- Supervise, mentor, and train a team of kitchen staff to maintain professional standards.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, manage procurement, and minimize waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the production area.
- Collaborate with management to introduce seasonal specials and limited-time product launches.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the baking and decorating processes.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in professional pastry production, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in dough fermentation, decoration techniques, and pastry chemistry.
- Strong understanding of food cost control and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse culinary team.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetic detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict production deadlines.
- Relevant certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training is highly desirable.
