In this role, you will be the backbone of our pastry operations, ensuring every cake and confection meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment and a deep passion for cake decoration and pastry arts. You will work closely with our kitchen team to develop new recipes, maintain high levels of hygiene, and deliver consistent, beautiful results. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Design, bake, and decorate a wide range of cakes, pastries, and desserts to professional standards.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and adhere strictly to food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Manage inventory of ingredients and raw materials, ensuring minimal wastage and optimal stock levels.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques and decorating skills.
- Collaborate with the management team to innovate menu items based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Ensure all production deadlines are met while maintaining consistent quality.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a professional pastry kitchen or bakery.
- Advanced skills in cake decoration, piping, and sugar craft.
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and temperature control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate within a team.
- Highly disciplined, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Formal culinary training or a relevant vocational degree is highly preferred.
